Designer Donna Vock is one of the jewelry industry's hottest names. With a love of gemstones that goes back to a childhood rock collection, Vock has followed her calling all the way to the realization of her own handmade signature collection. She has a bachelors in geology, studied jewelry design at F.I.T., and spent years working in the technical end of the field. After being mentored by two of the jewelry industry's most acclaimed artisans Donna is part designer and part engineer. Having unparalled experience in nearly every aspect of jewelry creation, from rough material to finished piece, Donna worked her way to a place among the industry's elite. Now, her own collection is finally getting the individual recognition reserved for the most accomplished artists in her field.
Currently, Donna only creates pieces for her own collection, and acts as Design Director for ProVockative Gems, Inc. From her design headquarters in New York City, Donna Vock is personally involved in each piece from start to finish. Starting with vellum and a pencil, followed by careful selection of materials, and extensive supervision at the bench, Vock ensures that the final product is the three dimensional result of her vision. Each Donna Vock original is numbered, catalogued and signed by the artist.
